KSYK at The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) 2026
Last week, a delegation of 24 students and three teachers attended The Hague International Model United Nations, centered on the theme ”Culture & Heritage: Embracing Diversity.” Representing various countries and organizations, students engaged in lobbying, drafted resolutions, and refined their debating skills through formal speeches and POIs. Our participants excelled across diverse committees, including the Historical Security Council (HSC) and the NATO Summit, with some addressing audiences of over 200 people.
In addition to the student debates, the MUN directors participated in international workshops and networked with educators from around the world. The week concluded with a traditional delegation dinner to celebrate the group’s collective achievements. This intensive conference offered an invaluable opportunity for academic growth and international collaboration, strengthening the sense of community within our school’s delegation.
