We had the pleasure of going out for breakfast frequently and ordering cappuccinos and pastries! We were able to have exciting experiences such as going to one of Civitavecchia’s most wildly celebrated festivals called Sagra Del Carciofo, Allumiere and Lega Navale with high expectations for sailing and riding on a rubber boat. Luck and time were both in our favour and we were able to enjoy ourselves while sailing. After the water activities, we sat down and ate the delicious sweet and savoury foods that were prepared by the students the day before.

On Wednesday we went to Rome. We had a travel guide explaining to us the summarised history of the ancient city and we got to see one of the 7 wonders of the world, the Colosseum.

There were relaxing beach days where we spent the majority of our morning on the beach. During the evening, all the students were treated to pizza at a delicious pizzeria by the teachers :)!!

On the last day before our flight, we went hiking in the hills of Allumiere. This exchange program has been incredibly unique and the students are overjoyed to have had such an adventure.

“Italy was an unforgettable experience!”
