Keskiviikkona 4.11.2020 klo 18:00-19:00 järjestämme etäinfotililaisuuden kuudesluokkalaisille ja heidän huoltajilleen Google Meetin välityksellä. Tilaisuuteen voi osallistua tämän linkin kautta: https://meet.google.com/oxw-nitq-huz?authuser=0. Meet on auki klo 17:45 alkaen.
Tiedotustilaisuudessa on luvassa perustietoa koulustamme ja yläasteen opetuksesta, opettajien ja tukioppilaiden mielenkiintoisia haastatteluja sekä koulun virtuaalinen esittelykierros.
Tyypillisesti olemme järjestäneet tiedotustilaisuuden koulun tiloissa, mutta vallitsevan tilanteen vuoksi emme voi tehdä niin tänä vuonna. Haluamme kuitenkin tarjota mahdollisuuden tutustua koulun tiloihin myös paikan päällä, joten järjestämme 15 minuutin henkilökohtaisia tutustumiskierroksia (1 perhe kerrallaan) niistä kiinnostuneille. Voimme toteuttaa kierroksen arkipäivisin 5.11.-15.12.2020 klo 9:00-15:30 välisenä aikana. Ajan voi sopia yläasteen vararehtorin Richard Cousinsin kanssa laittamalla sähköpostia osoitteeseen: richard.cousins@ksyk.fi. Huomioithan, että koulun tiloissa on käytettävä kasvomaskia.
7. -luokille hakemisesta kiinnostuneille järjestetään lisäksi avoimien ovien päivä lauantaina 21.11.2020 klo 10:00-14:00. Myös tähän tilaisuuteen voi osallistua pelkästään etäyhteyden kautta. Avoimien ovien päivän tarkempi aikataulu ilmoitetaan myöhemmin kotisivuillamme. Avoimien ovien päivän sisältö on osittain sama kuin 4.11.2020 etäinfotilaisuudessa.

On Wednesday 4.11.2020 at 18:00-19:00 we are organizing a remote info evening for 6th graders and their guardians via Google Meet. You can participate in the event through this link: https://meet.google.com/oxw-nitq-huz?authuser=0. The meet will open at 17:45.
The info evening will include information about the school and studying in our lower secondary, interesting interviews with teachers and support students, and a virtual tour of the school premises.
Typically we have held the info evening at the school building, but due to the current situation this is not possible. However, we want to offer the opportunity to see the school in person for those who are interested. Thus, we are arranging 15 minute personal (1 family at a time) tours of the school on week days between 9:00-15:30 during 5.11.-15.12.2020. In order to arrange a time for the tour, please contact our lower secondary vice principal Richard Cousins via email: richard.cousins@ksyk.fi. Please note that wearing a mask in the school building is compulsory.
We are also arranging an Open Doors Day on Saturday 21.11.2020 at 10:00-14:00 for those 6th graders interested in applying to our lower secondary. This event will also be held remotely only. The schedule for the event will be announced later on the school website. The contents of the Open Doors Day will be partly the same as in the 6th grade info evening on 4.11.2020.
